Duplicate an application or consent

You can duplicate a standalone application or existing consent to create a copy of it as the start of a new application.

Standalone applications include: building consents, solid fuel heater building consents, project information memorandum, certificate of acceptance and exemption from building consent.

You cannot duplicate an amendment or supporting application.

When you duplicate an application, the system transfers the original settings and data to the new application. However it excludes any data related to the original property, such as property address, owner participants and attached proof of ownership.

To duplicate an application or consent

1. On an application in the All list on the Projects page, select ... | Duplicate.

2. In the Duplicate application dialog, select Duplicate to proceed.

3. Set the property address for the new application and select Next.

   You may now continue to complete the application or navigate to the ProjectsAll list that includes your new draft application.
